1. Reflective sensor

Questo tipo di sensore riflettente esprime parametri come la posizione e lo spessore dell'oggetto misurato rilevando la potenza delle microonde riflessa dall'oggetto misurato o l'intervallo di tempo trascorso.

2. Sensore interrotto

I misuratori di livello a microonde attualmente in commercio hanno principalmente due frequenze: 9-10GHz e 24,5-25,5GHz.
